The adventures of a crazy, fun, messy, loving family of 4. Sunday, April 6, 2014. The last two weeks have been spent helping Brady recover from his tonsillectomy. He had his tonsils taken out on Tuesday March 25 and he was excited about the recovery - all the ice cream, popsicles and TV watching he wanted! Brady and Avery spent the weekend with Birdie and Bogey while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a "staycation" in Charlotte. We wined and dined and slept (sleep, glorious sleep! First swim of the year!

While I do believe that is important, I think the most important element is the quality of the grits. I grew up eating the "just add water" instant grits, and always loved them. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Elizabeth has been sick a lot this year with infections, fevers, snoring and sleep apnea, and lots of sinus drainage problems. She went to an ENT and they said she would need tubes in her ears and her tonsils and adenoids removed. The doctor said her tonsils were ginormous! I always feel bad because Elizabeth seems to get everything and she's already been in the hospital a couple of times, and she is only two! On Tuesday she had her surgery, and she did great! Saturday, March 30, 2013. Happy Half Birthday Ethan. We celebrated Ethan's half birthday on December 27. We normally just do cupcakes or cookies, but this year Brook made a fabulous Carrot Cake.
