It was raining during our eggs and pita bread breakfast, but the sun came out just in time for our hike to spend the day at Rosita’s house. The view from her home was spectacular. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Day nineteen: MORE snorkeling! We woke up to another beautiful and peaceful morning in Belize! After a delicious tropical breakfast, which consisted of the most amazing pineapple we have ever eaten (pineapple at home has no chance compared to Belizean pineapple), we headed out to the palapa for yoga class. It started to rain- I think downpour is a better explanation- but we all worked through it! Steph, Jungle Survivor. PS D’Pitera fam - I love and miss you. Sad to be leaving.

Thursday, January 19, 2012. Day fifteen: "Bring on the sun". After some swimming, a lot of us walked into town for ice cream. We heard about a really good ice cream shop—Mannelys, so we decided to adventure into San Pedro to find it. It took us about an hour to walk into town and to find the shop, but in the end it was totally worth it. I think that there will definitely be more trips to Mannelys in the future.
