The real one is a bit more squat than this, but I'm pleased with this pen-and-ink work. What Color is Orange? Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Very fa...

http://diannasoisson.blogspot.com/2013/01/loosen-up.html
Dianna Soisson Art Studio. A potpourri of color pencil art and thoughts for the day. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. As we assume with the new year comes promises of resolutions and completing all those loose ends. We become destined into getting caught up before the new year's begins only to find ourselves disappointed and exhausted. As co-dependents and workaholics nothing that we do seems good enough. As always, thank you for reading and may God bless! January 1, 2013 at 10:34 PM. Michigan, United States.

Gloria J Callahan, CPSA - Fine Art Paintings: May 2014

I Blog about creating Fine Art, using Colored Pencils and also Oil Paints. Working in the studio as well as "En Plein Air", (In the Open Air). Come in and join the fun! My colored pencil work requires 20-25 layers of artist quality pencils. Trying to foster respect for artists who choose a nonstandard media is challenging. I hope this blog will show Colored Pencil deserves the respect from collectors and galleries as a fine art medium. Sunday, May 25, 2014. Colored Pencil on Ampersand Pastelboard. And af...

I do recall having FUN and really getting into the creative zone while doing this. Sunday, April 11, 2010. How polished are you? I'm having fun using colored paper. Two recent efforts are of nail polish. The hardest part of this? Using paper that's not quite. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Blogs I try to follow. Cathy Johnson Fine Art Galleries.

Chez Dee: My clapochet -- just in time for fall
http://writepaintsketch.blogspot.com/2012/11/my-clapochet-just-in-time-for-fall.html
Monday, November 12, 2012. My clapochet - just in time for fall. I can't believe that it's already nearly mid-November. Where has the time gone? I finally finished this clapochet last night, having begun it in (ahem) December 2011! It feels and looks really nice. I'll post information on Ravelry eventually, but here are some key facts: Yarn: Paton's lace "Midas" (85g, 498 yards, and I used almost the entire skein); Hook: Boye F (5 mm), crocheted very.
