Megan Corkhill: January 2009
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 22 January 2009. Once I had laid all my work out in front of me, I found collage popped up a few times across a few disciplines of design, such as packaging and illustration. These collages were scanned in and worked with on screen. As this was the most common way of working for me, I chose to design my identity based on this. All in all I like to think I have covered every base and no one has any trouble navigating around my site. I was then able to begin planning and organising measurements&#...

Megan Corkhill: December 2008
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 December 2008. WEBSITE STUFF / INTERIM CRITIQUE. The image clearly represents me and how I look. It also relates to past illustration I have done. However I don't want to be seen as entirely an illustrator. I like to think I have skills in a wide media and I want this to be reflected through my website. People liked the name PegLegs although there were doubts from Neil, and a point was made as to whether or not I would like this name and logo to represent me in 15 years time? I found this pres...

Megan Corkhill: A BIT OF SATURDAY MOTIVATION.
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2009/02/bit-of-saturday-motivation.html
Saturday, 28 February 2009. A BIT OF SATURDAY MOTIVATION. I am currently aware that as this professional project, PPRD and anything else goes on I need to make sure I don't neglect the theory side of things. Today I have tried to come up with some sort of reading list and some case studies ready to show Anna in Monday's session. Unfortunately a few of the books I need are on loan, so have reserved them. But I also can't take any more out until I have returned the 9 I currently have on loan! Megan, 20 fro...

http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, 29 September 2008. 29/09/08 FIRST DAY BACK. First day back, to find out we can now officially call the Arts Institute a 'university'. It felt like my first day all over again and wasn't really sure why I was nervous as I knew everyone this time! The day was taken up by catching up with classmates, an introduction to PPRD 2 and enrollment before setting up my blog page and flickr account to try and organise myself for the year to come. Monday, 2 March 2009. 930 start and straight into Anna's seminar session for the theory essay. Fortunately, plenty of people didn't read their e-mails so Tom, Lauren and myself all pretty much got a one to one tutorial which I found extremely helpful. I showed my reading list which I need to research and possible case studies. I also finally have a working title! Visual analysis for shock advertising campaigns and it's specific use of colour". . Megan Corkhill: THOUGHTS CONCERNING MY PROFESSIONAL PROJECT (and chat with Jo).
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2009/03/thoughts-concerning-my-professional.html
Monday, 2 March 2009. THOUGHTS CONCERNING MY PROFESSIONAL PROJECT (and chat with Jo). The more I talk to people about my professional project, the more ideas I am getting and it seems my list is growing everyday. My most recent thought is putting my quotes and phrases into the environment and photographing this, not only as a documentary of my work but also to record how people react. This can be presented as a photobook, similar to that of Banksy, or an album or photo collage. View my complete profile.
