FRACTAL GEOMERTY IN NATURE. FRACTAL GEOMERTY IN NATURE. This work is inspired by the Antonio Gaudi’s architectural forms. And the fractal geometry in natural forms. The collection is exploring the fascinating shapes. Created by fractal patterns. Using techniques like smocking, sequining, hand beading, machine stitch and use of fabric folding, the collection is 3D. This sample is made by looping grey cord with a vinyl pattern, sewing them down to create a 3D effect. 3 Different samples working together.

FRACTAL GEOMERTY IN NATURE. This is a collection of six individual dining room chairs made to a floral brief. The project was different to my usual design direction, but I throughly enjoyed the experience of upholstering. And fiscally making a product. The process involved designing six different patterns, colour matching. Fabric to a strict colour scheme and sourcing. A durable but sophisticated fabric that can also be upholstered.
