Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I haven’t updated my blog in a long while. I was never much for consistent journaling. I don’t know why. it is so therapeutic. Even when I was a kid, I would start off strong with a diary and then the pages would be filled with “same as yesterday” “same as yesterday.”. Since I last updated, I have spoken at several events. Saturday, September 13, 2008. I met with an individual yesterday who is gearing up for his second reconstructive surgery secondary to breast cancer. That's right I said he! He represents the 1% of the males who will get breast cancer. His perspective was quite interesting, that although there are a vast amount of resources available.but for males, it is especially difficult to find resources that impact his gender alone. What a great event that raised almost 70,000 dollars for the programs sponsored by the ACS.
