Poltergeists of Polka Guys

Poltergeists of Polka Guys. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. I haven't posted in almost a year, so it was probably obvious, but I will be discontinuing this blog. I will probably still keep it up, but I will no longer be posting or contributing to it. It was a good outlet, but it is no longer relevant. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. I think it is an interesting concept, and I'm interested to see how it turns out. I was going to add an introspection, but I'm a bit tired for that, so it will have to wait until later.

Poltergeists of Polka Guys: April 2012

http://www.bibliophilelibrarian.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Poltergeists of Polka Guys. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Easter is coming. My church is doing Feaster, which is hearkening back to the Old Testament celebrations of holy days and thinking of Easter as a celebration, a party, a feast. Christ is risen. Rejoice! I think it is an interesting concept, and I'm interested to see how it turns out. I was going to add an introspection, but I'm a bit tired for that, so it will have to wait until later. Poltergeists of Polka Guys: A Sense of Place

http://www.bibliophilelibrarian.blogspot.com/2011/11/sense-of-place.html

Poltergeists of Polka Guys. Sunday, November 20, 2011. A Sense of Place. Thursday is Thanksgiving, and then the holidays are upon us! I have a lot that I want to accomplish this holiday season, and I really need to get started on some things. I think that procrastination is one of my besetting sins. It's been with me for a long time, and I really need to work on abolishing it. My apartment smells like awful incense or stale cigarette smoke that someone attempted to mask. Bleagh. Love, Your Ancient Aunt.

Poltergeists of Polka Guys. Monday, December 26, 2011. It is so nice to have a real job with vacation and holiday time. I am so glad to be able to spend time with friends and family. One of perks of working in an academic library vs a public library. This holiday has been fairly low key, but full of laughter. And, I suspect there is more laughter and stories to come with New Years. Well, dear niece, you are far ahead of me! Love, your Ancient Aunt. December 28, 2011 at 12:20 AM. View my complete profile.

Poltergeists of Polka Guys: January 2012

http://www.bibliophilelibrarian.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Poltergeists of Polka Guys. Monday, January 30, 2012. The small, imperceptible happenings of life. I am trying to read more. I am currently reading God is Red. I have pilates tonight, so I need to dinner. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Out with the old, in with the new. I have had a small epiphany. My friend pointed this out, and she is right. I basically always need to be busy. I need things to do, or I go a bit crazy. As I say, better to be busy than bored. :-). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Let’s not sacrifice our children on the altar of our perfectionism. What is life really all about? Yards and homes and possessions are just a physical vanity, all destined to decay. Saturday, August 15, 2009. Chaos and Order, and Main Things. I get a free little magazine each month from Focus on the Family. It has great articles. Dr. Dobson was replying to a question about the natural progression of a marriage heading toward being more distant instead of more intimate. Dr. Dobson answered explained about the natural principle called "the law of disintegration" He writes. Adding children and long work hours makes it especially pertinent to focus on those main things. I'm also really ...

Bibliophilic and cinematic musings of a 'mad' mind. February 16, 2016. February 16, 2016. Hello, beloved bibliophiles of the internet, and welcome to my little blog. Here you will find reviews great and small on just a small fraction of the books that I read. (Give that I read 391 books in 2015, that would be an awful lot of reviews to write.). You may also find some more academic pieces that I wrote at different points in my schooling and some that were written a little later. What can I say? Easy, and ...
