Life with my kids…. Margaret on Birth…. Katie on Birth…. Krissy on Birth…. Third time’s the charm…. January 18, 2010, 3:15 pm. Filed under: Kid stuff. When I was pregnant with Grace I did a lot of reading. I was sucked into the vortex of self-doubt that is created by writers of parenting books. Some of them are great, and admittedly I learned a great deal about. Raising my Spirited Child. And how to have the. Happiest Baby on the Block. 1 Comment so far. January 18, 2010 @ 4:09 pm. Life with my kids…. Margaret on Birth…. Katie on Birth…. Krissy on Birth…. Timing is everything…. December 23, 2009, 9:14 pm. My son already knows that “maybe” means “probably not”. I think he has figured out that even a “yes” can mean “probably not” in the right context. He knows when I say “hmmm” in a certain tone that it means I am not really listening, and I get an indignant, “Mommy, don’t say ‘hmmmm’ to me! 2 Comments so far. January 17, 2010 @ 6:44 pm. Life with my kids…. Margaret on Birth…. Katie on Birth…. Krissy on Birth…. You better watch out…. December 21, 2009, 1:06 pm. I can remember listening to Christmas carols as a child and singing them in church and at school. My mother had a recording of Julie Andrews singing “What Child is This? 8221;, “That is gross. Life with my kids…. Margaret on Birth…. Katie on Birth…. Krissy on Birth…. 8220;Campstered”…. December 20, 2009, 2:15 pm. Filed under: Kid stuff. Campstered is by far my favorite of his words. It brings to my mind a sad, camping hamster, which somehow makes things like canceled flights a little better. While I wish that people would campster their judgement… I understand it. Three years ago I would have shaken my head and thought to myself, “What is she thinking? 8221; Now I know better….

Sunday, August 19, 2012. I'm getting so creative with my blog titles, eh? Just another rundown post of pics, mostly. Lincoln got a teensy weeny scrape on his thumb and Ava bandaged it for him. Ava has taken to getting Linc ready in the morning and that includes styling his hair. Usually, she just wets it and combs it. While dusting the other day, I found these sweet little notes that Ava taped to Linc's bedside table. Look at this sunset! Ava and her baby. Linc and Lina (look at his face! Lina told us ab...

Friday, October 12, 2012. Last weekend we went on a family field trip to Seattle's Columbia Center. It's the tallest building in the Pacific Northwest region. It has an observation deck that offers a beautiful panoramic view of the city, much like the Space Needle. The tower also houses the countries' highest Starbucks (40 floors high! Unfortunately, it was closed. Just another reason to visit us in Seattle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Family and Friend Blogs.

Friday, October 12, 2012. A sampling of our days. Lincoln baked a cake. Lincoln colored on Stella's face. I made a Halloween wreath. The kids did the coolest drawings. Lincoln still likes soccer. Lincoln used his hands as an eraser on the chalk board. Lincoln helped me bake cookies. Last weekend we went on a family field trip to Seattle's Columbia Center. Monday, October 1, 2012. Ava has always been interested in arts and crafts and now I'm excited to see that Lincoln is becoming more interested. He takes his time with projects and contributes his creative ideas. He's coloring with more than just black and he tries to stay in the lines. Like his sister, he's beginning to help himself to the paper and crayons when left to his own devices. I love finding surprise masterpieces! Lincoln's "Whole Big City" (with two space needles). Sunday, February 26, 2012. February 19th marks the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. We woke up early, Honey and Papa drove us to the airport (and shed a few tears) and we boarded a plane to Seattle - one way. What an adventure! The kids (incl Louis) did amazingly well. At the airport - getting ready to check-in! Waiting to board the airplane. Louis, under the seat in front of me. Watching "My Little Pony" on Ava's iTouch. Playing games on the Fire (notice the Space Needle set-up). Matt&Mindy = Mi...
Business As Usual | Fescoe Family
http://fescoefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/business-as-usual.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. It's business as usual around these parts. Linc started soccer lessons last week. Although, he had to miss this week because he was sick. We just got him his first pair of shin guards so I can't wait to get a picture of him wearing those :-). Ava and "one of her best friends" sporting their "BFF" necklaces. We had to make another Mind Jar because Lincoln's broke during Show and Tell. Like, wouldn't stop crying so they called me to pick him up. This is for you, Buddy. Homecomin...

Thursday, September 27, 2012. Louis and Stella - VIDEO. To watch a video of Louis picking a fight with Stella. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. I'd like to dedicate this blog post to Uncle Ryan. I am thankful for Autumn. I am thankful for public school. I am thankful for pre-school. I am thankful for schedules and routines. I am thankful for "me time". Now that we're a few weeks into our new fall-time routine it feels great! Much older and so. When we eat out, Lincoln requests "a couch seat", meaning a booth.
Playground | Fescoe Family

Monday, October 1, 2012. We discovered another playground in the neighborhood and it's so fun! Ava refers to it as "the twisty playground" because there are so many spinning and twisting things. We took a family trip there this weekend. You should have seen the two of us on this twisty thing together. She has developed playground bravery. Lincoln became obsessed with this spinning pod thing. Really, it's a ton of fun! He spun for a good 20 minutes. Despite our warnings that he should take a break. 15 Tis...

Sunday, April 22, 2012. This is what independence looks like. Lincoln finds great pride in being able to go to the bathroom by himself. I have to resist the urge to straighten his pants when he exits the bathroom. Therefore, this is what independence looks like in our house. Thursday, April 19, 2012. Another Family Adventure, Lincoln Style. Both kids keep us on our toes, constantly. I imagine that all kids keep their parents on their toes. It makes parenthood fun and interesting, right? Young, Broke and Remodeling. The 43-cent Framing Fix. Melanie Category: Wall decor. Comments Off on The 43-cent Framing Fix. Back in December, we had our first family photos taken since having the Shark. We were thrilled with how they turned out, and shortly after receiving them I got a great deal on large prints, so I ordered 11×14 prints of our two favorites. At the time, I figured I’d pop them into my favorite Ikea Virserum. 11×14. Oops. Using my handy-dandy Silhouette Cameo. So there you have it, my ...
