Sunday, January 31, 2010. Well, when she was able to wear great-grandma's earrings to church this morning, she was happy. She's been quite a bit. Mixed in with a little bit of happy, which has been a big shift from our happy, spunky, social butterfly of a girl. She doesn't want anyone to touch her owie. We told her she gets to meet her new doctor tomorrow (the plastic surgeon) and that he will help fix her fingers, and she says "No. No doctor." The novelty has worn off. I, myself have not been so brave.

Wednesday, February 08, 2012. Porter received his Eagle Scout Rank, on Sunday January 29. He had about 50 family and friends in attendance to show their support. It just so happened that his father got to present him his Eagle because Bill is the Scout Committee Chairman. Bill also presented Porter the Eagle neckerchief and slide that his mother had given him when Bill became an eagle. Well talk details soon. 2/8/12, 9:04 AM. Way to go, Porter! I have been sitting here watching my little sweetie play and roll around on the floor and thinking about how a part of me does not want her to ever grow up! She is so sweet right now and loves me unconditionally! She loves to give me loves and kisses, which I love to give in return! Is that so wrong? Sunday, October 17, 2010. I had such a wonderful conference weekend. It just gets better everytime. My parents came from Rexburg, and my brother Chet came from Atlanta. We spent the weekend in Tooele at Lani's. It is such a blessing to be able to listen to prophets and apostles of God instruct us. The Spirit of the Lord was so strong. I feel truly blessed and am listening over and over to these talks. Points that struck me:. Studying the scriptures trains us to hear the voice of the Lord. Life, by Merry.

We will enjoy reading them over and over for years to come. The kids plan to make a hard copy book of all of this, so as to make it easy for us untechies to pick up and read at our leisure.
