Loving La Vida Loca: Thankful for Making
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2016/11/thankful-for-making.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Sunday, November 20, 2016. So that got me thinking about that. Kids are so creative. in so many different ways. The more I get out of their way and let them create, the more they are willing to try. They sometimes ask if they can do certain things, with a look like they know that I will say no. Then I say yes and they light up. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week everyone! I hope you find yourselves feeling thankful. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Loving La Vida Loca.

Loving La Vida Loca: October 2014
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Tuesday, October 14, 2014. This sweet little pile of goodness brings me so much joy! We didn't plan on the puppies. This is Holly. She is a foster dog that I care for and love until she is adopted by a loving family. She was pulled from a kill shelter on the day that she was going to be euthanized. I am so grateful that Danielle from Dash Animal Rescue saved her! She is such a sweet little girl. She is only a puppy herself at only 9 months old. Since we didn't know when she became pr...

Loving La Vida Loca: The College Green
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-college-green.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Saturday, March 12, 2016. Walking across the college green is magical. As things happen all around. If you walk with your head down. The soap box preacher. If you look up. You can see kids playing. With an old hacky sack. Cute boys (and even some not so cute). To catch the eye. Of a pretty girl. Is a living space. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Loving La Vida Loca: August 2016
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Thursday, August 18, 2016. New Position Requires a New Attitude. So where did I begin? Well, that's quite easy. It all began with a yes. My principal came to me, along with our intervention teacher, and they asked me if I would be willing to change what I am doing and teach this 4th special. I had thought about it and said no to myself prior to this conversation, but I found myself saying yes when I was asked. Does this happen to anyone else? So what did I decide to do? I am trying t...

Loving La Vida Loca: Passionate about Passion Projects
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2016/11/passionate-about-passion-projects.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Thursday, November 3, 2016. Passionate about Passion Projects. On any given day, the children might be building with legos, experimenting with paint, or wax and water (no joke), creating something from nothing. Tinker boxes in the creation station are full of materials that have absolutely nothing to do with each other, and yet the children put them together in a variety of ways to create something new. They want to try to make it work and I say go for it! November 5, 2016 at 3:54 AM.

Loving La Vida Loca: Let's Talk Handicap Bathrooms
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2016/03/lets-talk-handicap-bathrooms.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Thursday, March 10, 2016. Let's Talk Handicap Bathrooms. This may seem like a strange post, but for the last month I have been using a scooter and let me tell you. There are some bathroom issues I will never forget. Don't be alarmed. I am NOT going to go into anything too personal. :). Think about that now. Did you really have to go that badly that you have to make me wait on you? Hmmmm I know I will never use a handicap bathroom again. There is no hovering over a public restroom whe...

Loving La Vida Loca: August 2013
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Friday, August 2, 2013. I took my daughter, Emma to her University today so that she could open a bank account. I was really looking forward to the trip. The three Lairson girls were heading out for an adventure! I planned to have the windows down and the music loud so that we could sing at the top of our lungs, which is something that we typically love to do. I know that she is not leaving our family, but she IS leaving our home and I had no idea how much this would HURT! I know tha...

Loving La Vida Loca: June 2013
http://debllairson.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Loving La Vida Loca. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Today I had the privilege of cheering my brother and sister on in their first triathalon. It was a very exciting experience! Tattoos, for example, tell so much and yet so little sometimes. I think about the story behind the tattoo. Why did the girl in the doctor's office get a butterfly on her foot? Did she do it for beauty or does that butterfly have significant meaning to her? I do think bumper stickers and car magnets tell a lot about a person. Right now...
