The laboratory of bioinformatics

The laboratory of bioinformatics. Сandidates for a Masters degree. The laboratory of bioinformatics of National Research University ITMO. The lab was established in 2011. The main field of our research is conformational behavior of proteins, modeling and prediction of protein motions. We developed method and software for wavelets analysis of DNA. There is some activity in a field of taxonomy and metagenomes of soil (in collaboration with colleagues from ARRIAM).

As a recipient of TerraGenome Young Scientist Grant, Abraham Moller is presenting his work in Multi-omics for Microbiomes Conference in Kennewick, WA. Cheng Guo, a Ph.D. graduate student, visited Yosemite valley, CA. Kai Wang, a new Ph.D student, joined our lab in fall 2014. Mr Abraham Jon Moller is awarded with the Goldwater Scholarship. 5 Publications in 2015.
