Lots of changes | Bionic Lady
https://bioniclady.wordpress.com/2010/08/05/lots-of-changes
So yeah, I’ve had A LOT of nausea. I’m at 10 weeks now, which is supposedly the peak of that. I’m hoping that I’m not one of those lucky ladies who have “morning” sickness for all nine months. Cross your fingers! People keep telling me that women often go intro remission during their third or fourth month. I’m hoping I’m one of those lucky ones, but you never know. So for now, it is taking it day by day and doing the best to take care of myself. 2 Responses to “Lots of changes”. Feed for this Entry.

Where have I been? EA Sports Active for Wii. I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I was able to go visit my family in Maine. It was a nice trip, although travel can be exhausting. I still have a few more days of my vacation, which I’m pretty excited about. I will be going to see my RA doc and get my H1N1 vaccine. Whoo hoo! One Response to “Another year…”. Feed for this Entry. It is hard to be motivated…. EA Sports Active for Wii. So I bought my husband a Wii for Christmas and my family got me the personal trainer Wii Active. To go with it. After using it for a while, I couldn’t help think of the many benefits and difficulties with this program due to my RA. This is an opportunity to work out at home, which is something that I always feel is helpful with my RA. I’m not always on a gym schedule and it is really convenient for me to work out when I have enough energy. There are ...

EA Sports Active for Wii. Wow, it has been so long. It is hard to be motivated…. 8230;especially to write about my RA. I haven’t been writing to process my feelings because my husband and I have been addressing my RA as an issue in therapy. My RA can be a huge difficulty for us and it is one that we have yet to work through because it is always there. It isn’t a phase that we can pass through. It is part of who I am. I have to figure out a way to turn it around. I’m not saying I should pretend ...Fill in...

Skulking back to happiness. Remaining off my arse:). On: August 4, 2010. In: It's all about me. Currently on tenterhooks to see how much damage I’ve just done to my right shoulder this time. Had to catch my five year old as he fell head over tail down the stairs. As I stood there holding him up, upside down, with his head about 6 inches from a tiled floor I thought ‘Thank goodness I got him’ closely followed by ‘Argh! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. My Illness | Letting Myself Go

Resolving to accept my chronic illness. The fatigue was back with a vengeance! A couple days later, not only did my legs feel weak, but my hands and feet were tingling. My PCP at the time told me it was hyperventilation and my OB told me it was probably the increased blood volume and the baby pushing up on my diaphragm, making me short of breath. So, suck it up, basically. Only a couple days of work and I had every symptom I had started with! Don’t ask me how! What the hell is that? Out of sympathy, he s...

Bump up the volume. On: August 4, 2011. In: It's all about me. Have made a big decision to go on a very low calorie diet to try and improve health and strength. Weight has been creeping on but enough excuses, time to deal with it. Will pop a note in good time about how that goes. All medics very supportive, despite lowness of calorie intake. Another consult in September, will be back then. Much happier on the 17.5mg of injectable MTX than on the oral. 1 Response to "Lightweight". 1 deb aka murphthesurf.

On: November 16, 2011. In: It's all about me. So, I’ve been under usual measures on the vitamin D front, I learnt at nurse check up today. Symptoms: fatigue, joint pain and other familiar bad boys for those of us blessed by RA. Ho-ho, I joshed, so maybe the RA diagnosis a whole fantasy of modern diagnosis for me. Ribald laughter from us both. But oh, I wish! Did another test fo Vit D, to see if still down and needing supplementation. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. A UK mum writes.

On: September 14, 2011. In: It's all about me. Just had my 6 monthly Professor visit. 17.5mg MTX Humira have me as well as can be hoped, hurray. Got my non-swollen knuckles rapped for falling off of nurse’s radar and missing 2 monthly checks. Ah, the joy of feeling well enough to, heh? And I’m pleased to report I am 34lbs lighter than at my last post and very much more active and toned🙂. 2 Responses to "Stable". 1 deb aka murphthesurf. September 15, 2011 at 10:14. Bump up the volume. Skulking back to happiness. On: May 2, 2011. In: It's all about me. Back to the blog. Have had my husband working abroad since winter, and I’ve started a new job this spring. This has eaten most of my hobbies alive (sob, blog, sob, book club, sob gossiping on mumsnet and the other usual social network suspects). RA Obsessive detail May 2011. Spike for onset of cold winter weather last autumn. Spike for MISERABLE bout of flu over Xmas, despite vaccination. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Skulking back to happiness. Bump up the volume. On: May 4, 2011. In: It's all about me. Ah, well now, wasn’t expecting that. Bloods a teeny tiny bit elevated recently, Prof taking my niggling aches more seriously than me. He ‘doesn’t like’ that my elbows are beginning to give when weightbearing. No, me neither, but I’m still a bit deflated to have him finding issue…and increasing my sub-cut MTX to 17.5mg. 2 Responses to "Bump up the volume". May 4, 2011 at 20:27. May 5, 2011 at 13:36. I keep looking in the mirror, afraid I won't be there. Fever Ray - Fever Ray. Fever Ray - Fever Ray. I heard about Fever Ray first in the end of year reviews in Uncut and Nylon magazines. Both of them described it with words like eerie electronic and it intrigued me. Especially as they said the lady in question Karin Dreijer Andersson was something of a strange recluse.
