Thursday, August 12, 2010. WE SOLD THE HOUSE! That's right folks - we have a signed purchase and sale agreement for our Ferndale house! After having it on the market for 17 months and nearly giving up (seriously, we hired a property manager to rent it out) we got an offer, countered, and they accepted our counter-offer! Monday, December 14, 2009. Since Ernie’s grandma passed away, Ernie’s grandpa has been coming over nearly every night for dinner. We really enjoy having him over and spending time with him. Friday, July 11, 2014. Has it really been three years? Oh my I look at our blog and I can't believe it's been more than three years since I last posted about the goings-on in the Dickason family. So much has happened. I don't think it would be possible to catch up. Since my last post. I have transferred to the Tumwater office. I have a lot going on right now and updating the blog isn't even on the radar for the to-do list. So, what's going on? And why can't I sleep? Where should I start? We sold the Ferndale house. Yay! Sunday, March 6, 2011. Ernie and I have long felt called to be foster parents. Just recently we felt that God was telling us that the time is now to become foster parents. So, here we are. First, a little background. Well before we even talked about having kids, I asked Ernie if he'd ever thought about adopting a child. He said he was open to the idea, but that he'd always pictured himself as a foster parent. I had felt the same way. So, we decided to work with this agency, Community Youth Services.

We are lucky to have a very large garage, so even though we have plenty left to unpack we are already able to park both cars in the garage.
