Friday, January 23, 2009. Alton Collins simply rocked this night. We sat, drank listened and enjoyed every note. Grist Mill in Gruene.simple food, prepared perfectly and served in an atmosphere that was spectacular. Once an old Mill, it provides a dramatic backdrop for a restaurant with limestone walls, exposed beams, fireplaces and several terraces overlooking the river. We were visited by a skunk, black cat and later a deer. Try the ribs, filet, or tuna.excellent. Alamo, remember the Alamo!
