Bites, Bytes, and Pints: Pints: Jarrylo Ale #2
http://bitesbytespints.blogspot.com/2016/07/pints-jarrylo-ale-2.html
Bites, Bytes, and Pints. Yet another blog about food, computers, and alcohol. Friday, July 15, 2016. Pints: Jarrylo Ale #2. No special goal for this batch. I wanted to use up my last packet of jarrylo, but did not want to recreate exactly jarrylo ale #1 (even though it was delicious! Although, in retrospect, it would have been a good test of my process; to see if I can make the same beer twice and have it be consistent. To make it a little different, I used pilsner malt and threw an ounce of. Finished at...

Bites, Bytes, and Pints. Yet another blog about food, computers, and alcohol. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I can haz blog! Yeah, first post! This will be a blog of food I make/grow, beer I make/drink, and computer related nonsense. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I can haz blog! View my complete profile.

I decided on a munich helles as the style; a fairly simple recipe based of of Brulospher's recipe here: http:/ brulosophy.com/recipes/munich-helles/. And lagered roughly according to the quick lager method detailed here: http:/ brulosophy.com/methods/lager-method/. 8/9/2016...

Bites, Bytes, and Pints. Yet another blog about food, computers, and alcohol. Monday, April 25, 2016. After brewing the 5 gallon batch of W00tstout, I quickly realized that having 5 whole gallons of high gravity beer with long aging requirements is not quite as good as it sounds. When I got the Northy 12 kit. 1/11/2016: blowouts on both fermenters. Should have gotten fermcap(? To cut back the foam. Put over heating grate after blowouts where finished. 3/30/2016: disconnecting keg. Served 252oz so far.

Bites, Bytes, and Pints. Yet another blog about food, computers, and alcohol. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Pints: Tasting the British-ish ESB. The time has come to finally taste the kind of British ESB. There is a bit of tartness from the carbonation that lingers on the tongue. You can taste a bit of caramel and maybe a bready note as well. Monday, July 13, 2015. Pints: A Full Keezer Again. Thing I made the other week was just connected to gas tonight. I am following the Brülosophy Quick Carb. Wine I will be...
