Monday, October 4, 2010. East Coast Trip Part Eight: Jersey Shore. Ah, finally.the Jersey Shore post. And the air conditioner worked amazingly well, so who can complain? And then I watched the boys try to win football jersey from a claw machine. They actually did pretty well and won three or four. Shortly after that, Phil drove me down to Seaside to see what it was all about. During the day its actually pretty quiet, but there is still a lot of good people watching there. And that was our trip!

Monday, May 21, 2012. Happy 2nd Birthday, Hayden! March 23rd is such a special day in my life. I get to celebrate the birth of my amazingly wonderful son, who has changed my life in more ways than I could have possibly imagined. So much happened in two years. I can't wait to see what this year will bring! We celebrated this birthday at home with a small group of family and friends. We chose to decorate with a "Garbage Truck" theme. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Let the outdoor adventures begin! The beautiful pacific northwest weather could not be more welcome in our lives. It is finally sunny and warm enough to play outside. We even got to wear shorts and slippers this weekend! That is news right there. From our house, it's a good block down and two blocks up then back again (or around to complete the loop). Sometimes it's too much for his little legs and luckily I can still carry him for a ways before getting too tired myself. Dort Party...

Thursday, November 3, 2011. Hayden and Mom go to Virginia. On August 30th, Hayden and I left to visit family in Virginia. It was a wonderful trip! The only thing that would have made it better is if Dan was able to come. We arrived just after Hurricane Irene passed through leaving my parents and much of the surrounding area without power. My family was without power for 4 days and luckily within hours of our arrival to the house it was restored! We didn't waste anytime in getting out and doing stuff!
