The Poetry Wizard: May 2009

My very original, homewritten poems found nowhere else! Friday, May 29, 2009. Song: Run in Faith by YMIblogging. Words and Music By YMIblogging. Did you ever feel that life is like a race. A race that we are called to run in faith. To strive to reach the end of the line. Pressing toward the prize of life. To take the crown of righteousness from Christ. But sometimes we falter and fail to stay the course. Our feet grow weak we want to run no more. Just remember the clouds of witnesses. Links to this post.

The Poetry Wizard: 2010

My very original, homewritten poems found nowhere else! Friday, December 31, 2010. Despairing, frustrated, she sat by the way. Her heart in confusion, her mind in turmoil. The evening turned to dusk, life'd no sunshine ray. Bitter, lonely, she knew no joy. Rising up, she strolled by the store. Her shoulders hung down, a visage of sadness. Carols leapt thru the frosty air; But her heart cried out for something more. For no Santas or Rudolphs, could her broken heart nurse. Flipping through memory's pages.

The Poetry Wizard: August 2009
http://sunshinemeadows.blogspot.com/2009/08
My very original, homewritten poems found nowhere else! Tuesday, August 18, 2009. The Shepherd's calling,. He saves the failing,. Indeed, He's near! Oh, lift up your voice,. And call to Him;. He knows your toils,. Though it mayn't seem. He wants to help,. Will you be still? And let Him help,. He's just a prayer,. Away from you;. Cast all your cares,. Many and the few. He knows your pain,. He sees your shame;. Prayer's not in vain,. Praise be His Name! He'll lift you up,. And help you stand;. That's why, ...

The Poetry Wizard: CHRISTmas 2009
http://sunshinemeadows.blogspot.com/2010/01/christmas-2009.html
My very original, homewritten poems found nowhere else! Saturday, January 30, 2010. A season for laughing. A time for giving. Because everyone is doing. But what is X'mas. Why is there cheer. Hangs in the air. With many other cares. Come, hear the true story. Listen, you tired and weary. A long time ago. In Bethlehem of old. Far out there in the cold. Some shepherds were told. By angels in the sky. Singing there on high. That somewhere here the Saviour lie. One day, in this world to die. In all your toil.

The Poetry Wizard: Nature n Me
http://sunshinemeadows.blogspot.com/2010/01/nature-n-me.html
My very original, homewritten poems found nowhere else! Saturday, January 30, 2010. The wind tore through my hair. And the sun beamed its golden smile on me. As I walk this same old path. That I've tread a hundred times. The birds sing gleefully. And dance from branch to branch. While others flit and float and fly. Just beneath the sun-drenched skies. I am like the passing wind. A moment here, a moment gone. I wish I could soar above the noise. Like an eagle up on high. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
