I am nothing if not predictably emotional. And the emotion of choice the past three months has been anger. Because then throughout September, we anxiously awaited for answers as test after test was done. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Some of the ache. And all that. We were taught that race didn't matter because all people had value. That was it. I was a respectful student of history; I knew about slavery, and the race riots, and the Civil Rights movement. I claimed color blindness, because I wanted race to be a non-issue. You need to stand up, you need to read the words and listen to the stories, you need to question why. God did not create his people to be treated by one another like this.
