In 4 days I will embark on yet another major transition.I will have finished grad school (at least for the time being) and will officially graduate to be an MSW. Wow! Time flies when you're a grad student. Eighteen months ago I didn't think it would feel so fast, but now, the edge is approaching. I'm beyond excited (and spring fever only really adds to the anticipation)! Wow, wow, wow. I'm done and done! Me and My Men.

People have been telling me that I have not posted in a long time so I thought that I would be a copy cat and do a list of random facts. I got the new Zelda game, Twilight Princess, for my Gamecube.it is flippin' sweet. I bought three new, badly needed, pairs of pants. I am going to be an uncle for a third time. The other tool of late that is gripping me are a series of sermons from Mars Hill, a church in Grand Rapids where some Graduate Christian Fellowship friends attend. These are all focusing on the cross and what the significance today is of Jesus dying on the cross. Yes, our ultimate salvation, but is that only a thing for a future hope or does it mean more? A Peace of my mind. Monday, June 26, 2006. I'm an Uncle and a Godfather. Jacob Russel Talmedge was born at 2:38(california time: 5:38 Gaylord time) today, June 26, 2006. Of all the things that you could do to not pay attention to me while we are having a very important discussion why are you smelling your shoes? So,the other wildly exciting discovery I made on Sunday morning on my way to church: a new little strip mall-ish area that is being developed about 5 minutes east of my apartment will be the home of, that's right, a QDOBA! That, along with the fact that it was gorgeously sunny, made my day. Mmm.Qdoba goodness right down the street instead of across town.I can feel the obsession growing as we speak. Me and My Men.
