Click, Wobble, Quirrrrk...: Picking up Sine Waves
http://click-wobble.blogspot.com/2008/09/picking-up-sine-waves.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Picking up Sine Waves. Producer of the week for me is Todd Sines. He's notched up an impressive series of releases over the years for the likes of Carl Craig's Planet E. Andy Vaz's new vintage imprint Yore. And to my mind he is one of the most visionary 4/4 artists out there. Todd Sines and Natacha Labelle - 'Overlap' [Planet E]. Seductive vocals, downtempo blue keys and a ever-so-slightly jerking rhythm make this an absolute winner. Cron - 'Interrupt' [Chair]. There's heap...

Click, Wobble, Quirrrrk...: New tips
http://click-wobble.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-tips.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Here's some nice treats that are gathering on the grapevine ready to be plucked very soon. Martyn - Great Lengths (3024). Pangaea - Bear Witness / Mosaix (Hot Flush). Another killer 12" from the Hessle Audio main man, these two cuts deliver everything you want from Pangaea - smoky atmospheres, rocksteady grooves and some careful use of melody. Mosaix in particular is a hot tip, with a killer double bass turn. Untold - Sweat / Dante (Hot Flush). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Click, Wobble, Quirrrrk...: Re-Cap - the wonderful world of electro...
http://click-wobble.blogspot.com/2009/01/re-cap-wonderful-world-of-electro.html
Monday, January 19, 2009. Re-Cap - the wonderful world of electro. OK so there has been something of a time-lag in updating the ole blogger, so it's only right to dip into some of the music that's been flicking all sorts of switches over the last few months. Having heard their wobbly behemoth 'Calabai You Space' on Rephlex. For more future electro goodness, with a slightly warmer approach. Video for Dopplereffekt: Scientist (different version to the one on Gesamtkunstwerk). Welcome To The Planet Of Bass'.

Click, Wobble, Quirrrrk...: May 2006
http://click-wobble.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 22, 2006. Here's some pretty exciting news coming in off the grapevine. It seems that Thom Yorke (lead singer of Radiohead) has got a solo record coming out under the name The Eraser. Whether this means he will be imitating Arnold Schwarzenegger is unknown at this stage, but here's a few details to get all twitchy about. It's out on X. And It Rained All Night. And the good news? And anything else music related that I or anyone else may be getting up to. First real post soon. One man's journey...
