So, on New Year's Day virtually the entire nation is partying on the beaches of Lake Nicaragua (or so it seemed anyway! And we spent a lazy day hanging around the city before deciding to head out to Las Isletas. Happy Valentine's day my dear ex-boss. It's been just under a month for me, but already my health is back to normal, all my numbers are down and my doctor doesn't want to see me again for 4 months. Pretty miraculous for a 31-year old who just a year ago was diagnosed with hypertension and dangerously high cholesterol. Links to this post.
