Susan's Pointy Sticks: September 2007
http://susans-pointy-sticks.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 29, 2007. We are halfway to our vacation spot - currently we're spending the night in Virginia, with a final destination of Hatteras, North Carolina, where we'll be relaxing and lounging for a full week. I have brought with me (in addition to the norm of contact case, toothbrush, shampoo, children's books, beach toys, sippy cups, etc.):. 1) Embossed Leaves Socks - one is currently down to just decreasing the toe. One left to go. I have high, high hopes. Links to this post. One brave c...

Susan's Pointy Sticks: December 2007
http://susans-pointy-sticks.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 21, 2007. Here I was, sitting calmly and carefully at my desk, working away the last day of work before the holiday break like a very good little busy beaver - when I saw the most incredibly dangerous e-mail flash across my computer screen:. Webs Year End Blowout Sale! What is it that the Harlot likes to say? That she had an accident, and slipped, and accidentally swiped her Visa card on the way down? I have two words for you, my ducks. Well, actually four words. Links to this post.

Susan's Pointy Sticks: February 2008
http://susans-pointy-sticks.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2008. I took advantage of the morning light to try and take several pictures of my Snicket Socks. Ironically enough, I had started off the day wearing commercial, boring brown socks, but after pulling these on to take the pictures and feeling how warm and squishy and wonderful they were on my February-chilled feet, I decided to wear them the whole day! This is the picture where I'd say the sock yarn colour is the most accurate. In the 'Green Tea' colourway. More of the same. B-U-TKn...

Susan's Pointy Sticks: June 2008
http://susans-pointy-sticks.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 05, 2008. Thunder. Lightening. Very very frightening! I thought that maybe last night I could set up my new nifty tripod and take some fiber and FO pictures, but alas, a major major thunderstorm came through town and instead wiped out a few roof tiles {groan, we *just* had a good dozen or so tiles replaced! Downed many branches, flooded a few roadways, and in general sent all sensible creatures scurrying inside. BLF dyed up in her ' Insect Wings. To keep this from being an almost completel...

Mindy Memories: I hate it when good people die and the evil still live
http://mbogoo.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-hate-it-when-good-people-die-and-evil.html
Saturday, January 02, 2010. I hate it when good people die and the evil still live. Went to my friend's son's memorial service today. It was the fifth one for him and the large church was packed with friends and family. He was involved in several organizations and some of them had their own service for him. He was diagnosed with adult-onset Still's Disease back in 2005, a rare form of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. He was 23. Posted by Mindy @ 7:10 PM. Philadelphia area, United States. Last WIP worked on.

Mindy Memories: My dream job
http://mbogoo.blogspot.com/2009/07/my-dream-job.html
Friday, July 24, 2009. I went to Eastern State Penitentiary today with our interns from work. Had a great time on the tour and plan to go back on my own to get more detailed information. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Posted by Mindy @ 8:00 PM. I think that would be a neat job. They even have guides who give tours on horseback at Gettysburg- that would be awesome. I would love to work at one of the historical sites. Whether about the Army of Northern Virginia or about the Green Mountain Boys, i...

Susan's Pointy Sticks: May 2008
http://susans-pointy-sticks.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2008. First there was fishing. Munch didn't get a hook on the end of his pole - no way no how! Instead he got a rubber worm {he calls it his "wormy"} which delighted him to no end.). A friend from daycare came along to make the afternoon more enjoyable. Then this weekend, before the 3 hour graduation ceremony that I was required to attend for work, there was fiber dyeing. I tried the oven-roasting method this time around. After everything dried, there was handpainted roving. My questio...

Mindy Memories: December 2004
http://mbogoo.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2004. Quote of the Day:. From the remake of. I actually liked it and took it for the comedy it was, as opposed to the creepy original which I also liked. Only castrating, Manhattan career bitches wear black. Is that what you want to be? Ever since I was a little girl. Posted by Mindy @ 9:16 AM. Tuesday, December 28, 2004. No place like home for the holidays. First things first - Here's the Quote of the Day. This is from a book I saw at my dad's, a Jeff Foxworthy redneck joke book:.
