It is hands-down my favorite recipe for anything resembling pumpkin pie! In fact, I'm betting if you try this recipe you'll make this cake before making a pie for Thanksgiving next year. On closer inspection of their letter I didn't have to have the notification forms in by August 1st- they just would have liked them in by then. Sounds more like it. I know most of my homeschooling friends don't notify them until at least the end of August. Daniel now says "dog", "dad", "mom", "wow", "watch", "go" and signs "all done" and "no".
