So, since we have recieved our Australian residents visa and will be emigrating in late September this year. It only seemed fitting to post a quick update! Since we got back, Nic got into road racing on his De Rosa Idol and Sedef put up her cleats. We had to sell the ‘bents’ as we didn’t have any room for them in our small London flat. After Clare Valley we arrived at Adelaide – the capital of South Australia. An incredibly pretty city right by the Torrens river and the sea, also known as ‘city of churches’. The initial calculation of ’2500kms’ which we arrogantly thought we could comfortably cross in two months was in fact more like 4500 kms! A Liberty checkerboard quilt. I am yet to come across a single person who doesn't love Liberty of London Tana Lawn. 'Betsy' is a particulary beautiful tana lawn line, and Betsy in grey is probably my favourite fabric of all time (and that's up against some stiff competition! I got this selection of Betsy in five colourways from the lovely Martina who runs Ava and Neve. A Brisbane based Liberty stockist with a comprehensive range and whom I will be collaborating with on a number of projects going forward.
