Our daily wanderings and babblings. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Yesterday was the annual Larson Cup Triathlon. I was so nervous! I had so many expectations of myself, and I was really hoping to impress my family with how much I had improved, so I was really hoping I wouldn't disappoint myself! It was such a fun event. My friend TR Brooks and his wife Ari and a couple of their friends joined us. It was really fun to catch up, and they thought it was such a great event. I didn't sleep great, too many nerves!

We love having leaves to jump and play in! This is the plan: Dad rakes the leaves, Thomas jumps in and throws the leaves, Mom takes pictures of it all, and Suzie just doesn't quite get it. I guess I should say most of us enjoy having leaves to play in. The wheelbarrow ride is the funnest part of all!

Its a time consuming meal so I always like to make more then one batch and freeze extras. It is also one of the more expensive meals. This one you'll want the Pyrex for as well. K so I don’t have measurements cuz I don’t measure anything…. This will make a 13x9 pan, sometimes a 13x9 pan and 9x9…. I generally have sauce left over, but I don’t know how much…. Dad got sick for the fist half and we didn't see anything, but after a stop on the San Juan Islands dad felt better and then we saw some orcas! We left early Sunday morning (Mother's Day), and drove all day to California. The kids did amazingly well, they've become awesome road-trippers. The traffic was bad from Vegas to California, I need to learn my lesson and not plan Sunday travel! We went back to the hotel and collapsed and watched TV until we conked out.
