Suzy Mills' random thoughts: In Many Ways - by Peter Carroll
http://suzymillsblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/in-many-ways-by-peter-carroll.html
Suzy Mills' random thoughts. Sunday, 4 September 2011. In Many Ways - by Peter Carroll. A friend wrote this book and initially asked me to plug it to help him out. Rather than just plug it for that reason, and because it's a measly 86p to download it from Amazon, I thought I'd buy it and give it a whirl. I downloaded the free Kindle App so I can read it on my laptop and started reading this morning, not knowing what to expect. Here's a quick synopsis:. Sunday, September 04, 2011. Cafe Mocha - not for pro...

Suzy Mills' random thoughts: Biryani and back fat
http://suzymillsblog.blogspot.com/2012/02/biryani-and-back-fat.html
Suzy Mills' random thoughts. Tuesday, 28 February 2012. Biryani and back fat. For the few people who don't know already, I'm on a diet. I've been doing Weightwatchers since August 2011. In those 7 months I've lost just over 3 stone (that's about 30 lbs for my American readers). I've also reduced my waist by 13 inches! This is ALL good. There's still a long way to go, but I'm getting there. If, like me, you love curry, this is a great way to get a curry hit, without breaking the points bank. 1 tsp garam m...

Suzy Mills' random thoughts: Robin Guthrie at ICA, London - 19 September 2010
http://suzymillsblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/robin-guthrie-at-ica-london-19.html
Suzy Mills' random thoughts. Tuesday, 21 September 2010. Robin Guthrie at ICA, London - 19 September 2010. It's not that often that I feel moved to blog about a gig I go to, but this one left me feeling so gushy that I need an outlet. Nice small/medium venue with pretty good sound, a decent sized stage (with no barriers) and lots of lights. So far so good. First on were a band that a friend had TOLD me I needed to get there early to see - Daniel Land and The Modern Painters. We've always been weirdo magn...

Suzy Mills' random thoughts: FYI
http://suzymillsblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/fyi.html
Suzy Mills' random thoughts. Sunday, 6 May 2012. Whenever a friendship ends, no matter what the circumstances, I still grieve for what's been lost. Even if it ends in betrayal and abuse, I still feel sad. Maybe that's a fault of mine, maybe it's a strength - who knows. I have many faults and weaknesses of my own. I do however, have very high standards when it comes to behaviour towards others. Respect, empathy, honesty and love for people, animals and the environment are things I treasure. Life is WAY to...

Suzy Mills' random thoughts: Trying to find...
http://suzymillsblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/trying-to-find.html
Suzy Mills' random thoughts. Saturday, 21 August 2010. In the hope that this might be picked up on a search engine some day. My mum is trying to trace her brother. He was born Christopher Kelvin Newman on 6th September 1945 (06/09/1945) in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK. There was no father's name on Christopher Kelvin's original birth certificate. Christopher was given his mother's married surname, Newman on his birth certificate, but it's unclear whether Maurice was his father. Saturday, August 21, 2010.

My Wonderful Little Designs: Do your bit for our Armed Forces
http://mwldesigns.blogspot.com/2012/07/do-your-bit-for-our-armed-forces.html
Saturday, 7 July 2012. Do your bit for our Armed Forces. I blogged about this last year but thought I'd write about it again as I'm about to send another batch of cards. I'm a sucker for a good cause and a couple of years ago I heard about Operation Blue Witch Squadron via the power of Twitter. If you want to do your bit for OBWS then all you have to do is make a handmade card or cards, pop them in a cellophane bag with an envelope and send to Cazz at the following address :. Operation Blue Witch Squadron.

My Wonderful Little Designs: July 2010
http://mwldesigns.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 6 July 2010. It's been a while since my last blog post. No particular reason just been very busy at work and it's been too hot to spend any length of time on the computer -I know, I know - that's no excuse! Anyway since my last update there's been selling at Saddleworth Show, a work's night out and a nice walk. I went on a work's night out in Manchester's Northern Quarter the other week which was a great success. Free bar and free food - result! I lasted until the following day!
