Blogging the Good Life

Blogging the Good Life. Saturday, August 13, 2011. Life with a Newborn and a Toddler. It's been almost two weeks since our second little girl (Bella) was born (8/1/2011). We must have prepared ourselves for the worst, because the first week really hasn't been as tough as expected. We've managed to make time for both of them separately and individually, a little time for the two of us, and we don't look like zombies yet. I'd say that's about as good as you can expect at this point. Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

Blogging the Good Life: Blogging the Good Life

http://bloggingthegoodlife.blogspot.com/2011/06/blogging-good-life.html

Blogging the Good Life. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Blogging the Good Life. Lately, Stefanie thinks I'm going through some sort of mid-life crisis because I bring up some new interest on a regular basis. Just this week I told her that I wanted to get a pet Ball Python. She doesn't agree. She looked at me like this. So, I probably won't be keeping a snake in the house, but I'm almost definitely going to wrangle me a gator if I can get my hands on a gator tag. I'll try to share more about that one later.

Blogging the Good Life. Friday, July 8, 2011. I Wanna Be Like Troy". Do you remember the old Gatorade commercial from years ago with the catch phrase "Be Like Mike"? Watching the commercial still brings back great memories of playing basketball in the back yard and watching Michael and the Bulls play on television. In the category of useless talents, I can do a great impression of the announcer for the Bulls from way back when. "AND NOW. the starting lineup for YOUR CHICAGO BULLS! I Wanna Be Like Troy.

Blogging the Good Life. Saturday, June 18, 2011. The Insanity of Yard Sales. However, there is some silver lining to the event. The yard sale idea spawned from the need to clear space for another crib for our second little girl, arriving sometime around August 1, so we're getting pretty excited. The time is near, and I believe Stefanie may be nesting. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Blogging the Good Life. She doesn't agree. She looked at me like this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Road Less Traveled. It All Goes Too Fast. 160;Friday, March 26, 2010. Some of my favorite Ethan quotes are:. My name is Ethan X not Ethan.Ethan X". I don't like your rules". The Road Less Traveled. The Big Love Hug. 160;Thursday, February 25, 2010. I think the world can be divided into two types of people. Those who hug and those who don’t hug. I’m definitely in first category. I really have had no say in the matter, I’m almost certain it’s part of my genetics. My family can hug in every way imaginable. I thought I’d classify a few for you. Also known as the one arm hug. This is a quick one arm squeeze around each other’s shoulders. This is really quick almost no touching hug.

The Road Less Traveled. Done or Well Done. 160;Wednesday, August 8, 2012. We all faced challenges but I can say that I was challenged most during our bible studies. It seemed as if there needed to be a big red arrow pointing at my head saying.this is for you. You need to take note. Be challenged. Step out of your comfort zone! I want to hear Well done, my good and faithful servant. So thank you all for your many prayers. The time we spent in Costa Rica was wonderful. I know that everyone that...Hi, I'm P...

The Road Less Traveled. Sugar and Spice Snips and Snails. 160;Monday, June 27, 2011. There is never a dull moment around these days….this spring/summer we have 4 new babies in the family. I have two new nieces both born in April. Madeline Margaret and Sophie Clare. Both are absolutely precious. There has been a lot of rocking and singing. Our Sunday dinners are now more about whose holding the babies instead of what’s for lunch! Anyway….if you need me I’ll be the one holding a baby! Here’ a few pics.

The Road Less Traveled. Bravery, Patience, and Joy. 160;Friday, January 29, 2010. After our little pep talk, I wrote the quote down on an index card and brought it home with me. It just stuck with me somehow. I’m not sure if it was the words or the author, but I decided to investigate the true meaning of the words used. Here we go:. Brave Possessing or displaying courage; valiant. Valiant (Valor) Courage and boldness. Patient Bearing or enduring pain, difficulty, provocation, or annoyance with calmness.

The Road Less Traveled. Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability. 160;Friday, July 23, 2010. We recently had the Griggs Family Vacation. It was fab-U-las week of doing much of nothing and calling it play. We played in the water and the sand. We looked for hidden treasure and found it! All of these were in their natural environment and found by us. So I’m good with the quote above “Deep Summer is when laziness finds respectability” Sam Keen.
