The New Word Order: November 2005
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
28 November, 2005. I didn't fall off, I was tripped by obligation. Drew mentioned that it appears that I've given up on my blog, which is not the case. No excuses, no apologies. It's my blog, I'll write in it when I want. Tomorrow night, Citypaper. Editor-In-Chief Duane Swierczynski (of previous post fame) will be stopping by the house to read from his book. It's an event for the staff and friends of the Collegian. Since Duane used to be a Collegian. Editor himself back in the day. I'm working on a piece...

The New Word Order: Talking Heads redux
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2008/06/talking-heads-redux.html
20 June, 2008. David Byrne has done some funky stuff in his career as a musician/artist. So has Fatboy Slim. Together they're just silly. Observe this recent viral video:. Slow day in Rhode Island today. Nothing else to say really. Posted by Lou Perseghin at 18:27. I love that video. But after watching it a few times, the song's stuck in my head. And I'm not sure if I love the song seperate from the 70's-style orgie. 2:34 PM, June 22, 2008. Hey Lou, whassup? 7:51 PM, September 20, 2008.

The New Word Order: March 2006
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
27 March, 2006. I'm pretty excited for baseball season to start (sorry Gwen. I'm playing fantasy baseball this year, though I won't be able to update my team that often and will probably get trounced once July rolls around. Since blogger isn't letting me upload pictures or a larger file size as I could before, I've put them in a webshots folder. That said, here are some more pictures from Ireland. Has anyone else seen the new Skittles commercial. I think that it helps me work faster, when I am doing work...

The New Word Order: February 2006
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
06 February, 2006. Okay so I may or may not have forgotten about writing in here. I also have been busy, but as my roommates have found the time to update, I suppose I can do the same. While there I'm going to several places, including Bunratty, Aran Island, Killarney, Cork, Galway, Limerick and others. Staying around the Southwest area, as Northern Ireland is a little less than friendly. Something about bombs and religion. To anyone who has played more than a season in MVP, this article. Of worth before...

The New Word Order: December 2005
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
19 December, 2005. End of the Semester. The La Salle men's basketball team is having a rather improbable start to their season, running their record to 6-0 this afternoon in a marathon 4 OT game. Against Central Connecticut State University. I definitely watched the whole thing on CN8, with Gwen. None the less. Generally she doesn't enjoy televised sports, but this game, I'd like to think, was just that enthralling. I'm going to the game with Drew. They still look good though, Steve Smith. Anyhow, I enjo...

The New Word Order: Take my phone
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2007/12/take-my-phone.html
18 December, 2007. New Razr on Cingular/Att, 2,000 rollover minutes, 250Daytime/UnlimitedN&W minutes, Philadelphia area code. That's the deal. I switched to Verizon in October but never canceled my Cingular account (apparently). I was told when I called today I could transfer my account to a new name and address within 59 days and still retain all my built up shite. Oh yeah, I'll just give it to you, I'm not a dick like that. Posted by Lou Perseghin at 18:30. 5:26 PM, January 28, 2008. I swear to god, lou.

The New Word Order: Running in to my mother's double
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2008/11/running-in-to-my-mothers-double.html
03 November, 2008. Running in to my mother's double. Some kids are angry at their parents from the start. Not that this picture is a good example, just part of what forms the psyche. Monday Night, 7:40 PM. Sitting in Empire Tea and Coffee, Newport RI. Young guy, 9th or 10th grade, comes in with his mom and her mom. They order at the counter as I watch the backs of their heads from my table. She orders an English Breakfast tea, he gets hot chocolate. Grandmother is along for the ride. I asked his outline.

The New Word Order: May 2006
http://newwordorder.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
16 May, 2006. Remarks and not much content. Graduated yesterday. It was pretty great, and my diploma is enormous. It's really weird knowing I don't have to go back to classes in the fall. I'm off to Rhode Island tomorrow, so the next post I make will probably be in a month or so when the internet is once again available to me. I'm really going to miss this new website I found, Explosm. Their comics are pretty funny, and they update almost daily. Sample below:. Cyanide and Happiness @ Explosm.net. Things ...

FFGC, Get It??: Amid Katrina Chaos, Congressman Used National Guard to Visit Home
http://ffgc.blogspot.com/2005/09/amid-katrina-chaos-congressman-used.html
FFGC, Get It? A clearinghouse for the right-minded. Get your position here. Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Amid Katrina Chaos, Congressman Used National Guard to Visit Home. With all the finger-pointing and politicizing, I bet people aren't going to hear too much about this guy. Rep. William Jefferson, (D-La.) had the gall to use National Guard troops to check on his property and rescue his personal belongings, ABC News. How come nobody is pointing the finger at him, and accusing him of "killing".

FFGC, Get It??: Nagin and Blanco...Both Against the Ropes
http://ffgc.blogspot.com/2005/09/nagin-and-blancoboth-against-ropes.html
FFGC, Get It? A clearinghouse for the right-minded. Get your position here. Friday, September 16, 2005. Nagin and Blanco. Both Against the Ropes. My husband told me an interesting fact last night; Nagin never supported Blanco. Hmmmm, that's interesting. Nagin was a registered Republican, but switched over to the Democratic Party a few days before filing to become a candiate for New Orleans Mayor in 2002. His less than shining endorsement of Kerry sounds like he did it begrudgingly. Our friends at SearchVi...
