Giving birth to my first child at 39 and my second at 40, my body, spirit, and mind have been in a tailspin for 12 year now. The fact that my youngest has pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), among a myriad of other diagnosis, just makes that tailspin a true “may day,” scenario. I bought into the idea that the older and wiser the parents are, the more they have to offer.
