Daz's Almost Daily Dose: Check-up #1
http://disasterousd4z.blogspot.com/2007/09/3-monthly-check-up-1.html
Daz's Almost Daily Dose. My battle with a cancer called Hodgkin's Disease. Wednesday, 5 September 2007. Back in hospital today for what I was expecting to be my first of four 3 monthly check-up's. After giving me an all too brief once over, the doc told me (after admiring my six pack) I was a fine figure of a man and the 3 monthly's would not be required! Next check-up will be in March 2008. After refusing one of my six pack (he's a tea totaler) the doc sent me on my way for a blood test and then home.

http://disasterousd4z.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Daz's Almost Daily Dose. My battle with a cancer called Hodgkin's Disease. Saturday, 26 May 2007. Got my first cancer follow up appointment with my new haemotologist in Aberdeen on 31st May, then probably every 3 months for a year or two and then 6 monthly for the next 10 years-ish. Had one or two 'tanner-shillin' moments with some near rear end shunts - ooer, but eventually arrived safe and sound - Tranny's off the road now, waiting for bits and the drivers seat requires a valet! Friday, 18 May 2007.

http://disasterousd4z.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Daz's Almost Daily Dose. My battle with a cancer called Hodgkin's Disease. Friday, 29 December 2006. Last night at 14:30, they missed me out of the tea time run at 17:30 (forgot I was there! The nurse said if I'm quick I might just make the shop before it closes - surely enough, it was shut when I arrived. The cafe had only carrot cake and prawn cocktail crisps, so that was my last meal before fasting for the op - bummer! Surrounded by what seemed a dozen medical staff (just for me! Largest lump removed ...

Daz's Almost Daily Dose: April 2007
http://disasterousd4z.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Daz's Almost Daily Dose. My battle with a cancer called Hodgkin's Disease. Monday, 30 April 2007. Been doing a bit of surfing to find out what the large swelling is in my throat, just below my Adam's. Apple I've had this swelling since the start of chemo in January. It comes and goes but is usually always there and is even more prevalent. Since the start of radiotherapy. The lump is my thyroid gland. And when swollen usually means it is not functioning. I'll bring this up with Doc F on Wednesday. Loads o...

Daz's Almost Daily Dose: Tired arse..............
http://disasterousd4z.blogspot.com/2007/07/tired-arse.html
Daz's Almost Daily Dose. My battle with a cancer called Hodgkin's Disease. Saturday, 28 July 2007. Arrived back home yesterday morning, just off nightshift so I had a quick couple of hours kip before my afternoon appointment at the quacks. My specialist had been in touch with the Doc to confirm my skin problems are related to the radiotherapy. Apparently the radio treatment endures for several months after the actual zapping! I've been prescribed an unusual pain killer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
