So Hum Mantra

January 8, 2017 12:49 pm. Chanting is a beautiful way to have the mind focus on one thing, while connecting you to your Divine inner being. So-hum, translates to “I am that,” reminding you that you are ‘One’ and connected with all of creation. The mantra may be chanted out loud. Or silently, as you breathe in and out. Breathe in for ‘So’ and out for ‘Hum’. The power of the mantra is in repetition, helping to calm the mind and nervous system by slowing down your breath. Tapping into your intuition.
