Adventures In Wonderland: February 2009
http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 February 2009. Royal Windsor Qualifier - rubbish day. Went to do the RC dressage royal windsor qualifier today. Deanna warmed up really nicely, had our tack check (which we passed.) and did our test. It was a riding test so marked purely on the rider, not the horse. Checked the scores and was very excited to see that I was 3rd and so would qualify for the second rounds (winner of the second round goes to windsor). Two other people were eliminated for wearing spurs (they too "passed" the tack...

Adventures In Wonderland: 22nd November - Dressage
http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009/12/22nd-november-dressage.html
Sunday, 6 December 2009. 22nd November - Dressage. Went off for some dressage this weekend although unfortunately it didnt go quite as well as I hoped! Firstly with torrential rain outside we struggled to get any warm up and when we did get in the indoor arena Deanna spooked at everything and never relaxed. Scored poorly (as you would expect! Although there were a few glimpses of 'superr Dee'. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The trials and tribulations of my horse, Deanna, and me. 3rd Jan - SJ?

Mayfly Ginger :o): August 2009
http://mayfly-ginger.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Super Irish Sport Horse Mare who has made "hoofprints" on my life. Our Progress and History. Saturday, 8 August 2009. Doesn't she look so at home. :). She loved all the attention, she loved her appletizer. And she decided to attempt to try the potted plant in the bottom right corner of the picture. Luckily I grabbed her before she did! That I was lost and therefore obviously needed her to take us both home as quick as possible! Apart from that minor slip up. The hack was very enjoyable and I will definit...

Adventures In Wonderland: August 2009
http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 August 2009. Over RC 31st August. Aww lovely day today :) I was seriously regretting the idea of entering a showing class last night as I realised the amount of effort that goes into preparing for a show class. Removed all the bling from my bridle *sob* and also had to plait beastie which never goes too well hehe! Got there thinking we were early and turned out we were almost late! Deanna, for once! Set the example and popped round clear before doing a rather fast individual show haha! Deanna ...

Adventures In Wonderland: Lordsbridge - 15th November
http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009/11/lordsbridge-15th-november.html
Monday, 16 November 2009. Lordsbridge - 15th November. Eurgh what a horrid weekend weather wise! I was planning on going outdoors on saturday and jumping the 3ft and 1m class then popping to a local venue for something tiny. Due to extreme rain and wind on saturday we werent able to get out which was a shame but continued with our plans for sunday. Only went for a tiny class for three reasons 1) Deanna hasn't pure SJ'd in around 2 months now! So wasnt sure if she's go back to silly spooky D! Anyway, chuf...

Adventures In Wonderland: SNOW!!
http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009/12/snow.html
Wednesday, 23 December 2009. Ohh what an end to the year! 3 more comps planned for december and dont think we'll get to any of them! One was cancelled and other was just too dangerous to try and drive to and the 3rd, whilst a week away, probably wont be a good idea as D hasnt been ridden properly in 2weeks! Have however taken some cute pictures! Managing to ride a week after the initial snow fall! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The trials and tribulations of my horse, Deanna, and me. 3rd Jan - SJ?

http://aliceanddeanna.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 20 January 2009. 1st February 2009 - Overa Stud Farm BSJA. First jumping show since before xmas so wasn't expecting much from Deanna as we're not really on form. Dropped down a height and was very pleased as in the first class (80cm) she went DC! Came 3rd too so double woop! The horse eating fence 4. This is the first show since before xmas, and only the 2nd real jumping session we've had. Really hoping with a bit more practise we'll be back on form. . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 3rd Jan - SJ?

Mayfly Ginger :o): Hellooo Winter
http://mayfly-ginger.blogspot.com/2009/10/hellooo-winter.html
Super Irish Sport Horse Mare who has made "hoofprints" on my life. Our Progress and History. Friday, 30 October 2009. The winter months are arriving, the days and short and the darkness had come. This means no more hacking after school :(. Mayfly has had to say a much needed welcome to the clippers. Good news is that the bridleway which gets ridiculously muddy in the winter has been re-surfaced :D:D so fingers crossed hacking will be a lot less mud filled this winter :). We have also had to acquaint ours...

Bill on the Hill: June 2009
http://bill-on-the-hill.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Bill on the Hill. A young gelding, full of super talent making the exciting times ahead. Sunday, 21 June 2009. Cheeky little William did really well on the lunge with me today, only a little unwilling to return to walk sometimes.amazing how things have changed from when he couldn't trot round to now when he will go round and round with me just standing there :). Hence why we thought that it would be a good time to introduce William to the long reins. Friday, 12 June 2009. Up Up and Away! Anyway, he has p...
