Bonnieland Bungalow

http://www.bonnieland.net/history/index.html

After the Sunday's church service, one hundred years ago, a young, Oxford educated Ceylonese and his fair fiancé of an eurasian family background, were allowed to spend a few hours alone. They used to climb the hillside above the town until they reached a large rock from where there was a marvellous view over the small town in the valley and the hill range beyond it. The surroundings improved too. Fruit trees of many varieties were planted together with valuable timber, tea and coffee. Life would...Twent...

Black shadows, like flying dinosaurs of the Jurassic Age, the Flying Foxes crossed the moon. Yesterday the (amplified! Chanting had carried up to the house breaking its usual quiet. Now only a distant drumming mixed with the noises of a tropical night. Within minutes of the sunrise the birds come alive! The fifteen acres of ephemeral forest above the house and the rocky grassland towards the hilltop harbour a number of mammals too. The Giant squirrels bombard us with half eaten mangoes, the wild boar...

Bonnie Lamer Reviews September 2011

Bonnie Lamer Reviews September 2011. I would love to have comments on my reviews! Leave review comments here. Review: Cheat by J. E. Medrick. How far would you go for money? For Marcus Tiller, gambling debt was an overwhelming shadow on his life. As a neonatal attendant at St. Mercy Four Cities Hospital in need of cash, he became CGT-Inc's ideal pawn. The contract: secretly inject newborns with an experimental compound - for $1,000 a head. But, three years after he began, he disappeared. But when he sudd...

True of Blood: Kallen's Tale Chapter 1

True of Blood: Kallen's Tale Chapter 1. 8220;Kallen, I know this is a great sacrifice…” Grandmother says from across the kitchen island counter. I stand up so quickly, my stool tumbles across the tile floor. “Great sacrifice? Grandmother, you are asking me to give up my life as I know it. Tomorrow. Did you expect me to welcome your request? Cowans killed my parents and you want me to go to their realm and live among them? You do not think you are asking too much? I am amazed, though, that she has held he...

True of Blood by Bonnie Lamer

True of Blood by Bonnie Lamer. True of Blood Chapter 1. I have a television so I know what a family is supposed to look like but mine is nothing like that. To begin with, both my parents are dead. Not the kind of dead where you bury them in the ground, say some nice words, cry a lot and then never see them again. Nope, when they died they refused to ‘go into the light’ or whatever it is you’re supposed to do when you die. Instead, they came back home. I have and it sucks. We live deep in the mountains in.

Bonnie's Blog | Just another WordPress.com site

Just another WordPress.com site. Home School…joining the blogging crowd? February 17, 2014. Well I haven’t visited my blog in almost exactly 2 years! That is a long time and while I share a lot of what is happening in our life now that we have started Home Schooling I understand while all these moms have blog sites! Now, I am not expecting to make money or be some famous blogger – quite honestly this may be my only post! However, there are so many things going on I want to share them and document them!

Life on the Edge

My blog dress and header has changed! As a newlywed, I am excited to present a whole new theme. Thursday, June 21, 2012. It has been so very long since I last posted. Life is very, very busy, but is going very well. My husband and I just celebrated out first anniversary. I don't know why people think that the first year of marriage is the most difficult - my first year has been surprisingly easy! Anyhow, many of you will remember our puppy dog Jake. See you on the Rainbow Bridge, Jake! Life on the Edge.
