Help Identify this Snippet - Chinese Classics
http://chineseclassics.livejournal.com/3592.html
Oct 17th, 2005 @ 06:42 pm. Help Identify this Snippet. If anyone has some spare time, I could use some help. I'm looking for this snippet:. I learned this in Cantonese a long long time ago as a kid. I'm completely blanking on the first two characters. What are those first two characters? Where is this from? Who was the author? When was it written? Is there more to it or is that it? I've tried looking for the Simplified as well. Smaller chunks of it. Either line. No dice. May 24th, 2007 07:51 am (UTC).

rambling thoughts of the demented: June 2003
http://veryoff.blogspot.com/2003_06_01_archive.html
Rambling thoughts of the demented. Sunday, June 29. To top off yesterday's bad day. Dinner was extraordinarily expensive and my computer crashed upon reaching home. What happens now is that I can't use the Net. The cable modem form is fine. The 4 LEDs are working. Only the "Activity" one does not light up. Upon further inspection. I realised that my DNS, Gateway and other I.Ps cannot be resolved. Worst, they cannot be repaired. Attempting to do so hangs the whole computer. Every computer I own - It crash...

rambling thoughts of the demented: July 2003
http://veryoff.blogspot.com/2003_07_01_archive.html
Rambling thoughts of the demented. Wednesday, July 30. I did something and managed to come up with the original entries for the florrine.blogspot.com website, which has now been removed and as well as the 1st link out of that blog. Both are rather sad. Judge for yourself how the newpaper has screwed up the entries. I let the facts stand for themselves. What is quoted in the paper is NOT quoted in the entries:. From http:/ florrine.blogspot.com - final entry before the site was deleted. Ziwei and i talked...

I've been getting more spam lately in my spam-filtered mailbox. I can't just anyhow giveout my email address anymore. Literally half of ACJC is there!

Rambling thoughts of the demented. Sunday, November 30. Listening to Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas is You. Make my wish come true! All I want for Christmas is. A cheerful christmas song! Well, how quickly a year has passed. It is christmas season once again. The days are long. The months are short. The years are truly fast. I am always ever so amazed at the changing power of the Grace of God. Posted by Alwyn at 20:10. Saturday, November 29. Probably a huge number of people are celebrating the e...

Rambling thoughts of the demented. Saturday, May 31. Another VERY LONG DAY - Be warned, do not read if you cannot finish. To make it easier for my mei to read this entry, I've broken it up into many parts. I just have to comment, because in a sense, this day has ended on a very high note for me. I just woke up and instead of washing my face, brushing my teeth first, I hopped straight into the shower and set the water to its coldest setting. it felt warm. I love it! He just muttered some mumbo jumbo.

Formatting Chinese on a Mac - Chinese Classics
http://chineseclassics.livejournal.com/4839.html
May 7th, 2006 @ 10:40 am. Formatting Chinese on a Mac. I know how to write Chinese characters on a Mac using MS Word 2004. But what I want to do is to format the characters in the traditional orientation, i.e. text reading in columns from top to bottom, and then from right to left. Anyone know how to do what I want to do? Create a new document. Insert menu - text box. Click and drag in the document to create a tall, narrow text box. Select the right-most box. Continue until all the boxes are linked.

劉向說苑 - Chinese Classics
http://chineseclassics.livejournal.com/5128.html
Nov 30th, 2006 @ 12:27 am. Does anyone know where to find an English or, preferably, a modern Chinese version of 劉向's 說苑 (Liu Xiang's Garden of Stories)? I can find the original text on a number of websites, but nothing close to a commentary, even.
