History was never a boring subject for me at Douglas High School, and I was fortunate to have outstanding history teachers at Cochise College and the University of Arizona. Thanks Larry Christiansen and J.C. Mutchler! Those techniques and my journalism background make Borderland Chronicles stories succinct and enjoyable, but they don’t ignore life’s complexities nor its connections.
