Just another WordPress.com site. August 11, 2011. After trying to figure out the best way to do it I came up with several complicated ideas. After realizing that it may take years to cut through steel that thick with a wiz wheel, I picked up a 3 5/8s hole saw and made this. The mount is actually two pieces of steel with rubber in between, even the top flange that I welded to the blank. I welded the inside and the outside just to make sure it would not have problems.
