Donkey Hill: February 2013
http://donkeyhill.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 18, 2013. A couple of weeks ago we loaded the kids and their friends into the back of the pickup and went exploring the area around Donkey Hill. We found a section of the creek bed with a wooden bridge covering it. Kids usually climb trees to go up. This time, they climbed the trees down. It scared the pee out of me, by the way. We were keeping Courtney's kids while she was out of town. And I was terrified that something would go South on my watch. Tom told me to chill. Played campfire g...

Saturday, February 6, 2010. Now we've got the kids hooked! Tyson and Kelsey just finished their second snowboarding lesson and they love it! I got a very annoyed look from the instructor. Then he turned to a different kid's mom to tell her how her kids did. Eventually it was my turn to be informed about the day's progress. (If you have ever seen Meet The Parents, the flight attendant is how I describe the first instructor! Anyway, I liked the second day much better! It is the cutest thing to watch! I tho...

Ostenson Life: Halloween 2013
http://ostensonlife.blogspot.com/2014/04/halloween-2013.html
Sunday, April 27, 2014. We had a party over at the Grandparent's house. We carved pumpkins and watched a scary movie (Signs). Tanner got home late from work and didn't have the energy to carve a pumpkin, so here he is eating. Seth did his best job ever on his Nightmare Before Christmas Jack O Lantern. Max was a Cereal Killer. Seth is a Ninja Turtle and still wears that shirt to school a lot. Tanner planned his costume for about a year. He loves Batman so decided to be Bane and shave his head for real!

Monday, December 29, 2008. Snow boarding is a ton of fun! I am however incredibly sore! We went on Monday for our first all day lesson, and then we went back again on Friday. Why the long wait until we went back for more you ask.it's because I couldn't move for quite some time! I finally learned to do the S down the hill. It's so fun! I feel like a kid playing all day at a sledding hill or something! Travis caught on so fast, he's actually really good! That is a pretty cool thing actually! Whitney opened...

Friday, October 31, 2008. Traveling has been the theme for this month - a welcome change from the office routine (although the office work piles up when we are away). Early in October I was invited to a training seminar at church headquarters in Santiago for the finance secretaries (financieros) from the missions in this area. Since there was no car available that day and since you can’t. Overnight at the church's hospedaje (hostel),. More Improvements to our Apartment. Don and Barb Mason Family. DEAR FA...

Donkey Hill: March 2014
http://donkeyhill.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Love, Loss, and Healing. December 22, 2012 our little Gracie Girl was taken back to heaven. She was our 13 year old Yorkie.a whopping 4 pounds of love and loyalty. Piper's buddy and the love of Bryce's life. She had no idea she was little. She was the Princess of this castle. I have tried to write about this several times.and I always get to this point and stop. We wanted to bring her home so we could bury her on Donkey Hill and the kids could gain some closure. Karah and Bradley...

Donkey Hill: April 2013
http://donkeyhill.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 29, 2013. I'm a little late posting our New Years Eve pics. 118, to be exact. It was a cold, rainy night and we decided to nix our plans to go South for the freaky puppet parade and stay home and enjoy a "dinner of appetizers", watch the ball drop together, and shoot off some fireworks. The kids were so excited for their candlelit meal. Some of their favorites were served: Cocktail Meatballs, Mexican Spinach Dip w/chips, fruits/veggies, and bubbly. And there was likely saliva on the cake.
