Brain Ginger: Early Happy Christmas!
http://www.brainginger.co.uk/2014/12/early-happy-christmas.html
Sometimes you just need to look at things differently…. Thursday, 18 December 2014. Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy driving taxicabs and cutting hair (George Burns). As I rush up to the holidays as if time was going to stop for ever, I’m hearing a lot more ‘bah humbug’ than festive joy! OK, so, I’m guilty too. I asked my friends: how can I increase my Christmas spirit? Knit party hats for the goldfish. Fly to Mauritius and snorkel naked. Swear allegiance to Dionysus.
Brain Ginger: March 2014
http://www.brainginger.co.uk/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sometimes you just need to look at things differently…. Tuesday, 25 March 2014. Birds and mice …. The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. (Jon Hammond). When faced with a new, organisation-wide challenge for your team, how do you respond? You have two choices – to be the one who cuts the edge, or to learn from others as they hit any problems first. Which are you? What is your learning style? If you don’t know, go and find out. What reasons would you give for standing back?

Brain Ginger: Walk away ...
http://www.brainginger.co.uk/2015/04/walk-away.html
Sometimes you just need to look at things differently…. Friday, 10 April 2015. People of little understanding are most apt to be angry when their sense is called into question. (Samuel Richardson). I’m not suggesting that you have ‘little understanding’, you understand, but sometimes the best solution to workplace conflict is just to leave it alone. If someone in your group is being particularly difficult, ask yourself:. Are they too emotional to discuss an issue rationally right now? Http:/ www.voli...
Brain Ginger: August 2014
http://www.brainginger.co.uk/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sometimes you just need to look at things differently…. Tuesday, 12 August 2014. Follow your fantasy …. When I examine myself and my methods of thought I come to the conclusion that the gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge. (Albert Einstein). If there were guaranteed to be no obstacles, what would you like to achieve? If a being from Alpha Centauri was tackling this, what would they do? What super power do you need? Tuesday, 5 August 2014. We all have perce...

Braingirl and Next Doors Cat
Braingirl and Next Doors Cat. A look at Traumatic Brain Injury and Mental Health through the eyes of braingirl and her sidekick Next Doors Cat (RIP). So I thought why not do something more concrete with it and hopefully inform as well as being a theraputic aid for myself. I hope you find things on here to think about, to investigate but also to understand the invisible epidemic of Brain Injury. Follow “...
