Friday, March 11, 2011. Happy 6th Birthday Twins! Today is Isabeau and Jared's 6th birthday! They picked the cakes they wanted from my cake decorating book. I baked the cakes last night so all I had to do was decorate today. We had lots of family come over for cake, ice cream and presents tonight. I think everyone had a good time. Here's some of the photos from tonight! Nope, not pillow pets. Pillow sleeping bags! There is a sleeping bag in each of the pillows. So cute! Jared's SpongeBob SquarePants cake.

I got a nice rope burn on my hand which is just about healed - 2.5 weeks later! Like I said - it is a lot of fun! I rode 77 miles today. That is a short ride considering what is to come. I'll be up at 100 on the bike in the next two weeks. I get a good chunk of hill climbing this time around, as well as the last leg of the race. We switch off at different feed zones, and will take two turns each out on the course.
