I had not heard of Balot until I started watching food travel shows about the Philippines (check out Anthony Bordain's. I quickly learned that Balot is a long loved delicacy and a must try. After Cambodia, we made our way back to Malaysia and stopped through Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, and then Georgetown-Penang. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur. This would never be seen in China because there is always someone in need of a job. I guess not the case in KL! Inside the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur. Looks like choir robes with head-coverings.
