Matt's pain blog: August 2014
http://thechronicpainblog.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 3 August 2014. This is a question I am asked a lot by people who come to see me. They ask which one would best suit their back. Is it better to do yoga or pilates? Well I think it does not matter, my answer is; do the one you enjoy doing. There is no point doing any exercise unless you enjoy it! Tuesday, 21 January 2014. Why I think everyone should meditate. The amazing thing is that we can also see the changes occur in the brain when people have practiced meditation for a certain period of time. The emotional parts of the brain begin to switch off! People’s pain tolerance also increases! Below are some studies which show the benefits of meditation:. Http:/ www.umassmed.edu/uploadedFiles/cfm2/Psychiatry Resarch Mindfulness.pdf.
