November | 2013 | A long journey to a lifetime of love!

https://brooksfamilyadoption.wordpress.com/2013/11

A long journey to a lifetime of love! Asymp; 3 Comments. Well, we sold our house quickly (which is sad and exciting)! We closed on both houses on Monday, November 18th. We were able to move our belongings in at the farm the weekend prior. After an eventful weekend with the storms and some damage on one of the barns and Karen’s car, we are back in the house and starting to settle in some. Thanks to all who helped us move and clean and unpack and fed us! 2 years old…a couple of months ago!

https://brooksfamilyadoption.wordpress.com/2014/02/21/almost-a-year-old

A long journey to a lifetime of love! Almost a year old! Asymp; Leave a comment. He gets so excited when we praise him and clap. He loves to visit with the cats, his sisters. They are warming up to him more and more, even our oldest cat who is the most social with people other than Kirk and I. It seems like every day we see Holden learn and discover something new. It’s amazing! We love that little guy, who is almost a toddler. How did that happen? I will get some farm pictures posted. Larr; Previous post.

Some of his words are: da da, kitty, uh-oh, no, moo. He loves to read! He is good at turning the pages, too. He is pretty much running. He gets so excited and wants to get where he needs to be fast that he starts running. He falls some when going really fast, but he gets back up and keeps on going. Next post →.
