The osteopath will then carry out a full examination (Patients are usually asked to remove their outer clothing, usually shirt or trousers depending on the problem.). Once we have reached a diagnosis and ascertained that it is something we can help with we will work out a treatment plan and give advice on pain relief, exercise, posture etc. as necessary. At the end of the consultation your practitioner will discuss how you may feel after treatment, and any further treatment that may be necessary.

Robert Wilson (D.O. Lic.Ac.) graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (a 4 year full time degree course) and commenced living and working in Aberdeen in the summer of 1985. Robert is also a fully qualified acupuncturist training at the British College of Acupuncture from 1991-1993. They all find their work interesting and enjoyable, regularly attending training courses and seminars to keep their skills and understanding up to date.
