http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/01/marathon-training-starts-here.html
Monday, January 5, 2015. Marathon training starts here. Posted by Louise Bibbings. Whilst there were no broken bones, a substantial ankle sprain had me out of any kind of running, swimming, cycling or even walking. And then the magazine landed! Having seen everyone else's posts about them receiving rejections for the London Marathon, I figured that it was just our usual temperamental post that was holding mine up and then I opened the door to find this on the mat! I knew that I was going to have to start...

Broseley Joggers: Broseley Joggers does Silverstone Half Marathon
http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/03/broseley-joggers-does-silverstone-half.html
Monday, March 16, 2015. Broseley Joggers does Silverstone Half Marathon. Posted by Louise Bibbings. This was my first half marathon. For me it was the third time of entering a half marathon and the first time actually making the start! There really is no feeling like completing something that you've had your sights set on for some time. And for that reason alone, I think I smiled all the way round and had a great time. Always easier when you're not chasing a PB! So first the plus points:. It's very flat&...

Broseley Joggers: 'That' hill - the ups and down of the Ironbridge Half Marathon 2015
http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/04/that-hill-ups-and-down-of-ironbridge.html
Friday, April 24, 2015. That' hill - the ups and down of the Ironbridge Half Marathon 2015. Posted by Louise Bibbings. Organised by the Telford Harriers. The Ironbridge Half Marathon is a local race and many of us spend a great deal of time running various parts of the course. It's a truly scenic route starting in Telford Town Park before heading down the Silkin Way, past Blists Hill. And back up into the Town Park for that final uphill push to the finish. Best way to describe Ironbridge Half: Downhill, ...

Broseley Joggers: Half way through .... the ups and downs of marathon training
http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/03/half-way-through-ups-and-downs-of.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Half way through . the ups and downs of marathon training. Posted by Louise Bibbings. Believe me 16 weeks of training seems like a very long time, but when you know that you've reached the half way point it kind of seems achievable. There are now less than 8 weeks to go until 26th April the London Marathon. It's really quite easy to go into full PANIC! Injury is one thing but marathon training is hard work. It's hard managing everything that hurts on a regular basis. And when in...

Broseley Joggers: Never again ...... the London Marathon 2015
http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/04/never-again-london-marathon-2015.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Never again . the London Marathon 2015. Posted by Louise Bibbings. It is still taking it's time to sink it but yes, on Sunday I ran the London Marathon! I reached the start in far from top condition. I hadn't slept much in the days before and nutrition hadn't gone particularly well either. I had a niggle in my left foot and ankle which whilst not painful to walk on was certainly achy and a bit on the puffy side after a few hours on my feet. At mile 8 I ran right past Chris Evans ...

Broseley Joggers: Two miles with a 'dibber' - the Attingham Park Relays 2015
http://broseleyjoggers.blogspot.com/2015/05/two-miles-with-dibber-attingham-park.html
Friday, May 22, 2015. Two miles with a 'dibber' - the Attingham Park Relays 2015. Posted by Louise Bibbings. Yesterday, we had a fabulous evening running the Attingham Park Relays organised by Shropshire Shufflers. We entered a total of 6 teams, each with 3 members who had to run a 2 mile loop around the Deer Park. Slightly blurry Broseley Joggers getting ready to go. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Kerry - coming in. Emma - coming in. Helen and Kerry on their way out. Ann on her way out. Mark ...
