Monday, April 12, 2010. On May 10, 2008, the scariest thing possible happened to me. Only 16 weeks into my pregnancy, I went into labor. I was immediately put on bedrest and had surgery to stitch my cervix closed. Then, on June 24, I went into labor again.at 23 weeks pregnant. Monday, July 6, 2009. Is one of the strangest experiences I have ever had. Now, don't get me wrong. I love my kids. I love them more than anything in the entire world and I am so lucky to have them. But last night, while I was showering the poo off me from Jake's most recent blowout, I realized that being a mother is the most disgusting and thankless job ever. So I got out of the shower, toweled off, got in clean clothes, and the baby spit up all over me. Truly, there are more good days than bad days.
