Thursday, February 26, 2015. Oakes's Cake Smash { winston salem baby photographers }. Oakes was a sweet, shy little guy that came to our studio for a cake smash mini session for his first birthday! He played bashful, but flirty at the same time - he kept me giggling through the session! I got to use some new props for Oakes's session, like my new gray flokati fur rug, a new gray backdrop and a fun gray and denim shabby bunting by Dinner Time Chimes. Fantasy Photography, LLC. Not Your Everyday Chicken. Coming to the Asheboro Downtown Farmers' Market beginning May 2015! I Built a Greenhouse - Thanks Internet. Before the world froze over at the end of the year, Olive and I built a Greenhouse. I dug deep on the internet and found a couple of different designs- and most included PVC. I've got nothing against PVC for plumbing, but I just know that when it bakes out under UV rays for a couple of years it tends to get brittle and then sometimes it just up and quits on you. Now to ba...

Someone has a birthday in less than 24 hours, so of course, we had a party this morning. Macon said, "Take a picture like this.". Nearly blind and nearly deaf, but ready for cake. The gang colors fire trucks . . . To be used in pin-the-truck-in-the-station. With thanks to Jed for coming up with the idea for this game. Happy Birthday, Macon! Jed jumping out of the back. News from the Crib: more summering
http://newsfromthecrib.blogspot.com/2015/08/more-summering.html
News from the Crib. Sunday, August 9, 2015. We are having some repairs made to our house and last week, the very tippy-top window was open. It's a stained glass, half-round window in the upper-most peak, so I took the opportunity to check out the view. The boys loved it. Cannons, horses, guys with hats with feathers, guns, guns, guns! Followed by questions, questions, questions! But we weren't all business on this outing: we also took time for rock-throwing in the Haw River at Saxapahaw. No more old dawg.
