Friday, April 17, 2009. Today we went to the zoo as a family. We rejoined as members and will go some more. The kids had fun and it was nice and relaxing to take a casual (not hurried) walk and to look at all the animals. We had been told that the zoo didn't allow packed lunches anymore, but we saw no signs mentioning this and it wasn't on their site. We had no issues once there. Faith really liked all the monkeys. Tuesday, May 05, 2009. May 3rd is our anniversary and we had a family day in celebration. Church in the morning, then lunch. A little time at home and then we went to Balboa park to play with Frisbees and play on the playground. Tuesday, May 05, 2009. The end of April was busy around here. Justin still has baseball games and practice 3 days a week. Paige does gymnastics once a week. Play and just everyday life too. Paige's Brownie trip has something almost every weekend for the next few weeks. They went to a puppet show in Balboa park (Faithie got to join them) and then the 3 of us walked around for alittle bit. Then we went to Justin's baseball game and had an early dinner together. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Who would have believed we were bundling up just 2 days ago! It's HOT here today- in the low 90s. The kids are convinced every time it's above 80, that it's swimming weather. So, we gave in today and let them go swimming. The water was cool but they didn't seem to care too much. Newport Coast Villas, which were very nice. Marc was able to take four full days off from work, so we headed to Knotts. Berry Farm on Friday.
