Well I had a great weekend of family fun planned for last weekend but it didn't totally turn out the way I wished it had:( I had reservations for Fairmont for Friday night and got the kids excused from school. Levi had his Christmas program/party today at preschool. We went caroling at the nursing home first and the kids did great. I chuckled at Levi as we were walking out - he looked at me and said, "Mom, those guys don't look good! One of our friends, Hop Sing was there and he kept looking at him and shaking his fist at him!

Come Join In Our Fun! Monday, December 7, 2009. Just arriving and heading for the Venetian. It was beautiful. Enjoying our meal at Joe's! Posing at the tree at the Hard Rock! Cody and I took our annual trip to Las Vegas for the NFR a few weeks ago. His sister Clinda and her husband Clanny went with us again. We had a blast shopping as always. The food was fabulous. As Cody puts it - we ate likes kings! We went to the rodeo Friday night and then to the Brooks and Dunn concert. It was wonderful!

Yesterday, I went and bought the boys some mattresses for their bunk beds we just set up. They were SO excited to finally have bunk beds! By the end of the night, it turned into their "fort". Well, I made my first cake with fondant, for Jared's birthday. He wanted a Thomas the Train cake so I had to get creative. It turned out pretty good, thank goodness, because it took 6 1/2 hours! After all that work, it was hard to think that a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds were going to eat my masterpiece! It was worth it though! Jared, while he was getting sung to.
