Monday, 28 July 2014. A Long Way from Home. Such a lovely day today,. I'm so out of practice writing posts,. It takes me ages. I went for a bike ride. It was a bit hot to be riding a bicycle. But I only rode as far as Bernkastel, (7 km.). I didn't stop to take a photo. Until I arrived in Bernkastel,. Where I noticed where this cruise ship originally was from,. It's a long way from home. River Harmony was registered in Valletta, Malta. I like seeing the cruise ships on the river. I continued taking photos.

Thursday, 20 November 2014. Fish in a Jumper. This morning was lovely and sunny, too nice to be indoors, so my sister and I took a short walk with our cameras. Monday, 20 October 2014. Very sad to say that we lost our Big Boy, Paddy to osteosarcoma today. He was diagnosed with heart problems a year ago and was given medication on the understanding that it would give him a further 6- 12 months. On Wednesday, he was diagnosed with bone cancer. Today Mike drove to a special place to spend some time with Paddy,. Just the two of them together. It seemed a special moment in time that we were both caught up in.'. Saturday, 4 July 2015. So, I have this lovely son. Who has just qualified. As a fitness instructor / personal trainer. Was invited to join a friend on a day out. At a dry ski centre. The friend can ski. Joe did not book a lesson. As the friend said he would teach him. OK, it could have been a broken arm or leg. I was meant to be doing lots of sorting around the house that week, but then she sun came out and I thought oh well those jobs can wait for another day.
