Wednesday, February 27, 2008. The Soothing Sound of a Vacuum. There's something soothing about hearing a vacuum hum along. Maybe it's the fact that it's getting something clean, and then again maybe it's because vacuuming is an easy accomplishment. Either way, this morning was a wonderful day to celebrate the invention of the vacuum. (I know, you're all thinking I'm crazy right about now.). Saturday, June 29, 2013. SU'13 NJ Trip - First Few Days. We arrived in New Jersey on June 13 after 22 hours of driving from Wisconsin. It was a long, tiring trip but the kids and I settled right in and starting enjoying our vacation. It was a bit cold our first day but Paeton and Evan insisted on cleaning the pool and playing outside. The next day it warmed up enough for Paeton at least. I think the temp was 66 degrees.
